Challenge
The hotel in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) faced critical operational challenges due to severe scaling and corrosion in its 800 HRT cooling tower, which circulates 700 m³/h. High-LSI feedwater resulted in persistent, hard scale formation and accelerated corrosion on metal surfaces, leading to diminished heat transfer performance, increased energy usage, and shortened equipment lifespan. Previous cleaning methods failed to effectively remove the deposits during continuous operation, posing a risk to operational reliability and maintenance schedules.
Results
After introducing Hydro 215 for continuous dosing, the cooling tower experienced substantial operational improvement. Scale accumulation was mitigated and existing deposits were softened, making removal during routine maintenance much easier. System efficiency stabilized, energy consumption was reduced, and the corrosion protection extended equipment life. Facility management reported high satisfaction with the ease of maintenance and the sustained operational stability achieved.
Key Product
Product one
After implementing Hydro 215, we observed a remarkable improvement in the performance of our hotel’s cooling tower. The scale deposits that were previously difficult to remove began to detach easily, and the system became significantly more stable. Cooling efficiency increased, energy consumption decreased, and maintenance became far more manageable without requiring long operational downtime. We are highly satisfied with the results, and Hydro 215 has proven to be an effective and reliable solution for addressing both scaling and corrosion issues in our facility

About
Beta Pramesti Asia provides water treatment solutions and technical services for industrial and commercial applications, specializing in scale and corrosion control. The Challenge
The hotel in East Nusa Tenggara operated a large-scale cooling tower (800 HRT, 700 m³/h circulation) essential for HVAC and guest comfort. Over time, the system suffered from persistent scale accumulation and corrosion due to high-LSI water quality. Hard scale deposits greatly reduced the efficiency of heat transfer, increased energy costs, and accelerated degradation of metal components. Previous online cleaning and chemical dosing strategies were insufficient, requiring frequent interventions and risking extended downtime, which could disrupt guest services and strain facility operations.
The Solution
Seeking a robust and technically advanced solution, the maintenance team adopted Hydro 215, a multipurpose scale and corrosion inhibitor formulated with dispersant polymers, organophosphonate, and orthophosphoric acid stabilizers. Hydro 215 was selected for its proven online cleaning capability, optimal performance at 50–150 mg/L dosage, and compatibility with system pH 7.0–9.0. The continuous dosing regimen enabled the dispersant action to gradually loosen and suspend existing deposits, while the corrosion inhibitors formed a protective film on exposed metal surfaces. This approach minimized the need for extended shutdowns and allowed ongoing operation with efficient cleaning. As reported by the Facilities Manager: "The cooling tower is much easier to maintain now and system performance is stable. We are very satisfied with the results of Hydro 215."
The Results
Implementation of Hydro 215 yielded measurable operational benefits. Scale deposits became noticeably easier to remove during scheduled maintenance, reducing labor hours and risk of unplanned downtime. The cooling tower's efficiency improved as indicated by more stable process parameters and a reduction in overall energy load. Maintenance personnel noted improved convenience and the system showed robust stability following treatment, supporting continuous hotel operations and guest comfort. The customer expressed strong satisfaction with the results and the ease of ongoing system management.
