for good desalination results with us

General Definition

Waste water consumable means consumables used in the wastewater treatment process.
That is, it is not the wastewater itself, but items or materials that are used and need to be replaced periodically during the treatment process.

Examples of Waste Water Consumables

Here are some examples depending on the type of facility:

1. In Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP)

  • Filter cartridge/membrane - for physical filtration of wastewater.

  • Chemical reagents - such as coagulants, flocculants, pH adjuster (NaOH, HCl, alum, polymer, lime).

  • Activated carbon / resin - to adsorb contaminants.

  • Test kits and analytical reagents - for example to measure COD, BOD, TSS, pH, ammonia.

  • Cartridge oil separator / sand filter media - used and replaced after saturation.

2. In the Wastewater Analysis Laboratory

  • Sampling bottle & pipette tip

  • Filter paper / syringe filter

  • Chemical reagents for testing COD, BOD, nitrate, phosphate, etc.

Purpose and Function

Waste water consumables serve to:

  • Maintain the quality and efficiency of wastewater treatment

  • Ensure environmental parameters (such as COD, BOD, pH) remain in accordance with quality standards

  • Support routine operations of the wastewater treatment system (WWTP)
