Ion Exchange Systems:Condensate Polishing
Condensate Polisher systems play a crucial role in purifying condensated steam originating from boilers and turbines. These systems employ activated carbon filtration to effectively eliminate hydrocarbons, followed by a polishing stage utilizing ion exchange technology, similar to the softening process but at elevated temperatures. Our Betaqua Condensate Polishing Systems are meticulously designed to offer a comprehensive solution, featuring integrated heat exchangers (typically utilizing boiler feed water on the cold side), an automatic activated carbon filter with specially graded carbon, and an upflow condensate polisher. These systems are renowned for their minimal chemical usage and come equipped with a conductivity and silica analyzer. A noteworthy example is our reference plant, a condensate polishing system serving a paper factory with a capacity of 250 m3/hour.
